Suspecting beta release very very soon!

I can tell! phpBB 3.0 beta1 is going to be release very very soon. How can I tell? I notice that lately the devs and mods are online more often and at about the same time. This kind shows that they all are pushing to get it release. Hahaha!

Maybe they are waiting to release it too!

I'm sure they all want to get this done as soon as they can. we all know that beta is close anyway, hell, look at the CVS commit log, as well as th e recent opening of the bug tracker... and then in the bertie bear thread... they'll ship when beta1 is released

I certainly they release a beta here soon (within the next month or so), because my hosting company is upgrading to php 5 and the current phpBB version (2.0.x) doesn't suppot php 5 from what I understand.

Boy wouldn't that stink to have to abandon phpBB because it didn't support the latest php verson. >_<

I would think they would have added php 5 support already, but I guess not. Olympus will work with php 5, I assume?

I haven't had any problem with phpBB2 and php5...it works fine on my local server. 8O

I was reading that php 5 didn't support some things phpBB needed to function.

I think it was HTTP_*_VARS was depreciated or something.
