CVS Snapshots

Post by Acyd Burn »

The snapshots at http://area51.phpbb.com/cvs/" target="_blank are now generated from developer CVS until sourceforge's anonymous cvs is again in sync with the developer repository.

Just out of interest - when the anonymous servers come back up, will there be any good reason to switch back to them, therefore reverting back to the 5 hour time delay between commits and it actually appearing? I imagine that relatively negligable bandwidth savings would occour, but aside from that?

Yes, there is. At the moment i need to manually update the snapshots because i do not want to use my private ssh key on a public machine. I try to update the snapshots as updates are made to CVS.
