Post order
How come posts in topics are showing the new posts first rather than the old ones? It should have the new posts at the bottom of the thread.

It does it correctly for me, and most of the others.
I would guess you have it set wrong in the user control panel.
User Control Panel, Preferences, Viewing Posts, Display post order direction.

Well is there a way I can set it in the ACP to automatically have members post view order be default?

Just out of curiosity, why would you want to prevent members from viewing posts in their own preferred order?

The order it is by default after you install it, is viewing the most recent posts at the TOP of the topic. I just want them at the bottom as default. then after that I dont care whether they change it or not.

Since you don't care how others view it, why don't you simply change it for yourself? In that sense it doesn't matter how the post are odered by default 0.o
