phpBB3 Crosses 80,000 Lines of Code
Congrats on yet another development milestone!
Re: phpBB3 Crosses 80,000 Lines of Code
Or is it 98593 lines of code? Depends on where you look. Maybe if they add 1407 lines of comments tomorrow we can all celebrate. Or we can just hold the celebration until a beta is actually released.Fountain of Apples wrote: Congrats on yet another development milestone!![]()

More and more lines of code isn't always a good thing. It tends to lead to bloat.

FoA, you should know better that it's not about the number of lines, but the quality of the code. Sometimes less lines can give better code quality.
phpBB, its open source, become involved, write a modification!

Yeah, these devs are idiots. I demand phpbb coded in 2 lines or less.Davidls wrote: FoA, you should know better that it's not about the number of lines, but the quality of the code. Sometimes less lines can give better code quality.
Re: phpBB3 Crosses 80,000 Lines of Code
Is that number all lines or only lines which are not comments, blank or have only a bracket?
Don't give me my freedom out of pity!
