Re: START HERE - EasyMOD Compliance Standards
maybe he is constantly refineing the specs and maybe instead of whining you should show him how he can make it better?

I say he has it under control. Besides, this discussion ended a month or so ago.
Re: START HERE - EasyMOD Compliance Standards
And what you said is wrong. In case you didn't noticed, all what is already written has been thought with the whole mod team, and also with quite a number of mod authors who have taken the time to think about it, and to explore the pro's and the con's to tweak all, where others loose their time - and the time of others - to complain about having or not 3 letters at top of their description although they have been explecitely denied to use them.

Re: START HERE - EasyMOD Compliance Standards
Could somebody gather all the syntax and other standards info again?
Like this:
MOD Template SQL Command Standard
I've found some info on IN-LINE actions (other then shown here), but can't seem to find them again.

Re: START HERE - EasyMOD Compliance Standards
I'm not quite following what you're saying, but you may want to check the phpBB.com KB for what you're looking for. Keep in mind that the EMC standards are in a perpetuate state and that other things have taken priority over them.

Standars...
I meant the stuff here (or maybe phpbb.com forum) - like the link I gave. At least I'm quite sure it was a post by Nuttzy, but can't find it since I firstly run through this forum. Any way it was about IN-LINE acctions (some advices), there was something with whitespaces there (but not the same link that are at the begining).

OK, if I'm following you now, this document should help you, as well as the two linked in the section "Whitespace in FINDs" at the end of the first post there.

Re: START HERE - EasyMOD Compliance Standards
Does this mean that the MOD Team is adopting these EMC standards, or different standards altogether, and when are they adopting the EMC standards? In the EasyMOD 0.2.0 Download Thread, wGEric wrote: MOD Authors: Learn all about the proposed document how best to write MODs for EM (EasyMOD Compliance). A key to success will be getting MOD Authors to write their MODs so they don't clash with other MOD installations. Our goal is to present a method that is as clear, reasonable, and unobtrusive as possible.
Re: START HERE - EasyMOD Compliance Standards
All along it was going to be the MOD Team that was handing out the EMC stamp.
When EasyMOD is complete and the standards are finished is probably around the time when the EMC standards will start to be used.
