Do you...
Do you plan to make members' names link to their profile in posts?
Re: Do you...
That would be nice. There's that profile button below, but somehow it seems more natural to click on one's name from within the post...

Re: Do you...
doesn't that just require editing the template?
Re: Do you...
Just click on the profile button under their post, next to the aim, yahoo buttons
Of course that’s just my opinion I could be wrong
Re: Do you...
I'm pretty sure everyone already knows how to do that.devoutus wrote: Just click on the profile button under their post, next to the aim, yahoo buttons
I'm just suggesting this because I'm used to it from other forum software, and it's easier to see when someone is a guest, because their name won't be a link.

Re: Do you...
Don't guests always have "Guest" right underneath their name if they used a name other than "Guest"?
Re: Do you...
It should do that. InOlympus all guests will be automaticly in the special group "Guests". You should be able to assign a special user color for them. THe profile button does not appear by guests.
Don't give me my freedom out of pity!
Re: Do you...
It seems I had a mod before santy took down my forum a few months ago that made the members name clickable but instead of taking you to the profile it inserted the name into the quickreply box where you were typing (it may have been a part of the QR I was using) I really liked this feature for responding to someone because you didnt have to know how to spell sometimes long and confusing names and didnt worry about getting them wrong.
Personally the profile button works fine for me if I want to look at a profile (rarely) and cant see having two ways to get to the same place within inches of each other.

I think this won't be modified, and if you wish to modify this, this is only a minor modification that you can do yourself actually within a minute.
