Actually, I doubt they'll feel like working at Christmas, so I say we can expect the beta to start in about a tenday...

Since I can only vote for a date in 2004, I'll just go for the last day of the last month! This way I'm sure I have the closest guess if it comes out next year
Beat you to it months ago, but likely they will not use any of them, we shall see how it goes this year :)

It's been explained that since phpBB 2.2 won't come out this year, they'll use the date it goes itno beta for the contest instead.
