I just thought I would give everyone a staus update.

First, Natan, I do belive I explained why its likley to be before Christmas.

Secondly, anyone who's been paying attention might of noticed This quote:

So, I'll outline what I'm going to do with the nearly 200 entries. If phpBB 2.2 isn't out by the 1st Jan 2005, then I shall award the bear to whoever guessed the date at which the first beta came out. I will then re-do the competition with release dates for 2005. (Like this one, they will be year locked).

If I have to do this, then everyone can re-enter.

I thank everyone for entering sofar, I wish you all the luck with your guesses.

I'd like to make a guess, but the server neothermic.com seems to be un-operational. Can I just post my guess here, and then have it be just as officially unofficial as everyone else's guess, or should I wait to see if newthermic.com comes back online?

I'm just going to give this a small kick back up the thread listing (also known as a bump). As of writing this the compition has had 210 guesses. The winner might already be in there.
