Server Load and Admin Pannel Access

Post by xkevinx »

I was testing out the cvs and I saw that if the board does go offline because of high server load you can not access the admin pannel. Shouldn't an admin be able so that maybe they could try and gain control of the load and bring it down or something of the sort.

This is like pre-alpha software, so thats probaly a bug, and bugs simply appear in incomplete/alpha software.

I don't think ACP of phpBB could help in reducing the load...

You could force the use of an imageless template or whatnot.

A competent operator could switch the template through the database CLI. phpBB is a more user-friendly forum though so chances are it's just a bug, stop complaining.
