[RFC] Better Pagination for touch screens

These requests for comments/change have lead to an implemented feature that has been successfully merged into the 3.1/Ascraeus branch. Everything listed in this forum will be available in phpBB 3.1.

Agreed... Then a little larger buttons to make it easier to use on mobile (and whatever other improvements the team/community could come-up with).

Perhaps change it to a button with a "jump" icon (whatever that may be). "page 4 of 4" is just redundant since you can easily see this from the pagination itself.

Personally, I like this style better. The buttons don't look as "cartoony" as the ones posted on page 3 (by hanakin I believe).

I meant something significantly smaller.

yeah I did not mean it was done just that I still had it their, but I like the icon

In any case, the "jump to page" dialog should be changed. Here's an idea from IPB:

like it paybas but I do not think the bullets are necessary or maybe just do not fit
