It is a small thing, but nothing we can do about it, so it won't be in rc1 most likely.

I wouldn't care so much about 3.2 if there wouldn't be the problem that I can not switch my host to PHP7 because PHPBB isn't ready for it (all the rest is Wordpress, self coded main page ...)

You've been told more than once why phpBB 3.1.x won't work in PHP 7...get over it all ready.

On the basis that you have stated in another topic that you will not be using phpBB anymore then this is all irrelevant.

At the end of the day:

1 - phpBB 3.1.x won't work under PHP7 and never will.
2 - phpBB 3.2.x and beyond does.
3 - phpBB 3.2.x will be released when the time has come.

There isn't so much to argue, I believe.
Reasons have been already discussed to death, in an exhausting mode.

Take it easy, indeed. :)

I updated (locally) my 3.1.8 to 3.2.0b2. With a db of 1.5 Gb i know it is rather large and i have read about the problems and some fixes surrounding the timeouts.

I tried it numerous times and each and every time it got stuck on the post conversion line to 3.2.0. I have set my php timeout to 3 mins and it helped but it still timed out. After the time out reloading finished the script and i don't see anything strange. Version is updated correctly as well to 3.2.0b2.

Anything i need to do when updating the production to 3.2.0 when it is ready or does the updater-script still needs some work?

Which migration timed out exactly?
