Desperately Seeking Tutorial!

Hi,

I'm looking for somewhere I can find tutorials/walkthroughs on how to get started in customizing phpBB3 templates, themes and imagesets. I'm new to phpBB3 and whenever I seem to be onto something, it inevitably points me to phpBB.com or wiki.phpBB.com

I checked phpBBHacks.com and startrekguide.com and haven't been able to find anything that starts at the basics. I have the book by Jared W. Smith, but it is geared towards phpBB2.

Any suggestions would be greatly apreciated!
