No Buttons.Images on forum install? *ANSWERED*

Post by carlclendenin »

The directory of images that ARE showing are forum images:

forum/styles/AeroBlue/imageset/forum_read.png

But such things as "post new topic" aren't showing, and I'm not sure why? I've tried searching but I couldn't find my answer.

The theme/images images aren't loading, neither are the images in the directory: public_html / forum / styles / AeroBlue / imageset / en /

Sorry if this is vague, I'm not really sure how to describe it any better than EVERYTHING save for the images in the imageset folder are invisible/text and not buttons. If I put a file in any of the folders, including the domain's images, and the theme's imageset folders it still doesn't work.

I'm a noob.

Can i see a link to your board or a screenshot?
If you are using an other language pack
Move the files in Aeroblue/imagesets/en to Aeroblue/imagesets/en_us
create that en_us folder urself
Or check your forum settings you might have not set the permissions right.

http://www.maddeniq.com/forum

I'm not really sure what permission I would change for it to be viewable. If you could elaborate please?

After you explain I'll make that folder and change it all up. Thanks

Also, if I go to edit imageset for the forum theme, and cycle through the images, they all show up. If that helps at all.

edit image set >> select image>> all selected images show?

EDIT: Trying the folder now

Update:

That did, thanks a ton. Will I have to do the same for every forum theme I change to if the problem is the same?

I assume it was because of the language packs like you mentioned, and I'm sure the ones I've DL'ed all have the set setup.
