Where are the forum uploaded pictures stored with in php?

Image attachments are stored in files folder
avatars are stored in images/avatars/upload

thanks found them, do you know what file extention they use?

Also, my forum has stoped displaying these pictures, only show box with red cross, any idea whats behind this?
