Displaying Posts

some posts are not going to the top when we reply, and having them sorted by newest descending isnt changing it.
It seems as if they are sorting by the initial post date.

Is there a way to fix this?

for some reason its now displaying the posts properly, but I know I saw it and multiple users also have

the forums in question are http://scmb.sakuracon.org, just avoid the Main Events if looking around as I am not sure the disorganization there that happened when I added sub forums is from the Global Announcements addon or not
