Am I blind or am I just missing some features.

I dont see anywhere for an Admin to manualy add a user if they wish. I thought that that was a pretty cool mod to do to the phpbb2 and that it might carry over.
I also dont see that i can add or edit the favicon...that was another mod that i enjoyed.
did i miss them or are they not there??
ThanX as always

Those MODs were not added as features. There is a MOD for adding members through the ACP already. And search the main site's 3.0 support forum for "favicon" to get the answer on how to add yours.

first of all You should, make an icon file called 'favicon.ico' of 16 x 16 pixels which will be the icon used in the site adress bar. Upload it into the images directory of phpBB 3.

Then go to admin cp and edit the overall_header template;

find

Code: Select all

{PAGE_TITLE}</title>
and after it add

Code: Select all

<link rel="icon" href="images/favicon.ico" type="image/x-icon" />
<link rel="shortcut icon" href="images/favicon.ico" type="image/x-icon" />
that's all, it works for me, so it will work for you!
