Back to Top Link Removed?

Post by squeeks »

On post row, there used to be a back to top link under the user name, its currently not in the Beta, but the anchor is still there in the overall header, i'm guess it will be there for the final version as the spot for the link is still present under the user name, Ive had someone ask about it already and was just wondering.

Ummm Spambot, the "back to top" link was to quickly take you back to the top of the page, not to take you to the index.

Take a look around your keyboard

Look for "Home" and press it..

Ahh sorry, I do not use that 'key'. When you say button, I think on the page, not the keyboard. ;)

Home button != index link :)

Home for top, end and space for bottom..

ANYWAY, i see the anchor is still there in the overall header, and the spot of it is still in post row, so a lil copy paste of previous code and there it is, aparently there is even an entry in the language file, as it added it with the right text, its just called TOP now, but thats just as good.

It took me a while as well to realize button didn't mean a user interface button on the screen but actually a key on the keyboard (so you got a buttonboard then, spambot? ;) )

Anyway, whether or not the anchor is there, it'd be just template work to put both the link and the anchor in, no need for any control from the core code [unless you need a translated string of course...].
