Missing Language Variables

Post by DarsVaeda »

Hi,

i'm translating english into german. Or better...i finished it.
Now i'm just comparing changes in new cvs-versions with the last i downloaded and then correct the german files.
Thats a lil time-intensive so i thought of using this feature of phpBB 2.1.2 (because i just discovered that  )
But it don't get that feature.
When i edit a german language file there is no message.
When i edit an english language file there are some missing language variables warnings.
But the english lang. files are always those from cvs, so they must be correct.
I guess the function compares the german files with the english ones.
In the english files some variables have been deleted, because of cvs-changes and thats why the function supposes they are missing.
But isn't that incorrect?
I think the function has to tell me that there are some extra (or missing) variables in the german files.
"They say time is the fire in which we burn."
