Stencil is not ready for use. It was put in a little too early because of a misunderstanding. ;)

4 was an A, it became harder to see because it came off the edge. Edge detection code is planed.

Just make sure you dont underestimate the ingeniousness of idiots.

Having a separate file for each Captcha class IMHO is the best thing to do.
Not only does it make the code more managable but it makes it far easier to add new Captchas and it can improve performance (if only the Captcha being used is included).

This weekend I'll rewrite my code to try and make it work better. :)

As has been said, this is how it was before and it has been decided against it.

Because you use captchas to make it as difficult as possible for computers (in this case bots) to read them. Your example could be "cracked" in a fraction of a second, and therefore make it useless. Please read the beginning of the topic, before you reply. ;)

Did your hear of something like this before:
"One way to crack CAPTCHA is to offer a free porn site which requires that the user key in the solution to a captcha -- which has been inlined from my site for example -- before he can gain access. Free porn images or video attract a lot of users around the clock and in many countries."

You could embed the site's name somewhere in the image so that people would know it's out of place.
