Picture Attachments

Post by wildfisher »

Is it possible to include picture attachments within the general flow of the text in the post. I can’t figure how to do this. All I can get it to do is attach file at the end of the text in the attachments area.

For example

This is the text of the post

<picture attachment in here>

This is more text of the post

Thanks

Upload the file and then you can add it to the text with "Place Inline".

Thanks for the reply, I tried that but all I get is the file name and not the actual picture in that place.

What I am doing wrong?

i upload the file from Add an Attachment (browse->add file)
after it has appeared under Posted attachments, i scroll back up and there is an attachments selection box under the message area. when i press Place Inline, this bbcode appears

Code: Select all

[attachment=0]default.gif[/attachment]
and that should make the attachment go inline. :)

the preview thing shows it wrong tho....

If you have permission to use it, it appears below the message box and above the topic review on the posting page

'You cannot post attachments in this forum'

Unless the phpBB developers have a specific grudge against me ( :wink: ), I imagine that this applies to the majority of users here.
