Someone might have set the usernames to only allow alphanumeric chars

Ok, it would appear that the word censors also apply to the usernames, and you can't register if you have a denyed "word" in your username.

It would seem someone put in the word censors *a* *b* and *c*, ie, anything with the letters a b or c was being denyed.

Needless to say, I fixed it.

I think that censored words aren't allowed in phpBB 2.0.x as well, though I'm not totally sure

Well, several weeks later and I'm still waiting patiently for Beta 2 so I can put it up for people to mess around with.

He disabled the board, deleted everything, and changed a load of settings. Bye bye, ya moron, yer completely banned from my server!

The little snake also cleared the admin log, but I've made changes so no one can ever clear the admin log.

I allow people to look around and change settings, but not to ruin the experience for others.
