german translation?

Post by Franklin »

I'm German so I'm looking for a German translation of the language-files of Olympus (and my English isn't good :roll: ).
Did anybody began to translate the language-files?

I know that the official translation will made by the translaters' team, but it won't be ready until the Final Version is released.
I'm German, so I can't speak English very well...

Thanks!
But no one has translated the language-files for the ACP?!
There I've found most words I can't translate!

viele warten noch bis mindestens zur ersten beta mit den übersetzungen, da sich ja immer noch was änderen kann. ansonsten dürfte dir http://babelfish.altavista.com" target="_blank bei übersetzuungen helfen.

most are probably waiting till the first beta, since there is always the possibility that something changes. http://babelfish.altavista.com" target="_blank should help you translating stuff otherwise.
((perfect timing-_-, i wasnt able to log in this weekend cuz Dad thinks this site is bad and that your all the spawn of Satan....hmm go figure^_^))

It's unlikely any full translations will be available until v3 goes gold, as additions are constantly being made, and a translation that works today, may not tomorrow :)

I have a question:
In the language-file common.php in Line 75 you can find the code:

Code: Select all

'AVATAR_WRONG_FILESIZE'			=> 'The avatar must be between 0 and %1d %2s.',
But at the top of the file there you can read
// Placeholders can now contain order information, e.g. instead of
// 'Page %s of %s' you can (and should) write 'Page %1$s of %2$s', this allows
// translators to re-order the output of data while ensuring it remains correct
I thought there have to be the code:

Code: Select all

	'AVATAR_WRONG_FILESIZE'			=> 'The avatar must be between 0 and %1$d %2$s.',
Is it a bug or is it correct?
I'm German, so I can't speak English very well...
