I thought about it today... but didn't particularly fancy doing the table updates by hand.
Doable, just a PITA as the upgrade script is about 6 months out of date.

Can some explain aswell, whether or not the 2.1.x versions will be released on phpbb.com

2.1 is the development version. 2.2 will be the released version, at phpBB.com.

I also thought about using 2.1.1 on my site, but i decided against it for similar reasons to SHS'. The manual table updates are a huge pain, plus the UCP aint working yet.

I'm trying to. Not live, but wanting to test the CVS with a couple of friends, yet I can't pass some errors during the install of it. And it beats me to it, prolly something stupid I can't figure out...
And you think you know a lot sometimes :: ashamed ::
I'll post a topic around chit chat to see if anyone who installed the cvs tells me what's wrong.

me running it now for a month and it is daily updated by the cvs
