anti_spam mod reports critical error on step three

Wondering why that MOD you have won't install correctly? Let's take a look

DO NOT give out any FTP passwords to anyone! There is no reason to do so! If you need help badly enough, create a temporary FTP account that is restricted to only the files that you need help with and give the information for that. Giving out FTP information can be very dangerous!

anti_spam mod reports critical error on step three

Post by michaellunsford »

I received a few errors during the easymod installation that I was able to remedy. They were all mkdir problems (for whatever reason, my php install does not let me create directories) so I manually created the directories that were needed. After a few tries, I finally got step 1 to go through and say "success" -- step 2 said there were no database changes, but step three bombs and I have no idea why.

Here's the error.
Warning: ftp_put(): post_process.sh: Permission denied in /home/httpd/vhosts/example.com/httpdocs/forum/admin/em_includes/em_ftp.php on line 2333

Critical Error: Unable to complete writing of post process file.
Current working directory: /home/httpd/vhosts/example.com/httpdocs/forum/admin
I'm sure this is some kind of permissions problem. Is there something I can do manually so step three completes? If not, do I need to tweak something in the php.ini?
