Re: Several Built in features to consider deeply
While I don't have a problem with most of those being put off, the ability to only see your own topics is a much-requested feature. Wasn't there a topic for this somewhere on here? I can't find it... New Forum permission for viewing other users' topics But is there a list of features being consider...

Re: PHPBB3-10620 - Quote tag improvement
However, if you have post_id as a parameter, do you really need the time and user_id parameters? Can't those be retrieved automatically using post_id when previewing or posting? Having them there could also lead to mischief, like putting in other people's user IDs (having your user name link to my ...

Re: WYSIWYG Editor/Rich Text Editor
That's an interesting way of viewing it. It seems to be a nice solution... 1 pending issue with that logic, though: With lists, the indent/outdent acts on a single tag or a set of <li> tags depending on user selection. How should it act inside a set of tags such as the result HTML for the [ quote] ...

Re: WYSIWYG Editor/Rich Text Editor
User functionality help wanted! The WYSIWYG has a big limitation. It is hard to decide how and where to end a BBCode tag that allows having itself inside. E.g: Tags such as b and i do not allow themselves as child of themselves, so knowing if, by pressing the button, the formatting should be added ...

Re: Several Built in features to consider deeply
Even if they were being considered it would be unlikely that any of them would be implemented in the next few major releases (3.2, 3.3, 4.0).... Really? While I don't have a problem with most of those being put off, the ability to only see your own topics is a much-requested feature. I can't believ...

Re: PHPBB3-10620 - Quote tag improvement
I don't have a problem with the date, but don't care much, either. If you are going to have the date, though, put the user name first, like "Pony99CA wrote on June 16, 2015, at 7:57 PM:". The user name is more important than the date in my opinion, so it should be displayed first. However,...

Problem Previewing Signatures And Getting Blank Lines Before And After BBCode
When writing a post (or replying to another), the Preview of my signature looks horrible. Here's what I see in the Preview (all underlined like a hyperlink): Silicon Valley Pocket PC[/url:1wm4oa8i] ([url:1wm4oa8i]http://www.svpocketpc.com[/url:1wm4oa8i]) Creator of [url=http&...

Re: PHPBB3-13934 - Enctype clause for forms may be needed for profile fields
Not quite the same, but exactly in that direction, and mostly applicable. I had not seen this post, thank you. I am implementing several CPFs, and specifically, an Image Upload and an Image Selector CPFs. This need is for the Image Upload CPF. Image: Allow displaying an image (with user-specified s...

Re: PHPBB3-13934 - Enctype clause for forms may be needed for profile fields
I can't help with choosing, but I'm curious if you're basically implementing the image Custom Profile Field type that I asked for in the New Custom Profile Field Types RFC. If so, please also allow the options that I mentioned. I would also recommend allowing both linked and uploaded images. Steve

Re: "Mark forums read" can be pressed accidentally in mobile devices
I guess we can do a "do you really" popin... please, please, NO - not another dialog to accept It's for the touch event, not the click event. Makes sense for touch devices, imo. Agreed. In most UI guidelines, any irreversible actions should require confirmation, so even including this on ...
