Re: Full Automatic Update

IMO, phpBB is simply too complex to update this way. The current Automatic Updater does almost this- the system tab alerts the admin of a new version available and provides a link to the download page. But I think the file review and choosing to merge files is necessary. Wordpress has modules and pl...

Re: New Karma System (Theory)

This topic has become more a MOD Request than the discussion it began as almost four years ago. It seems to have lived a long life, but its time is now up. For MOD Requests, please use the appropriate forum: [3.0.x] MOD Requests.

Re: Forbid to post links under N published messages

Hello, As this forums description and rules state, this is for discussion of features that have been added, not for ones you'd like to be added. Discuss features as they are added to the new version. Give us your feedback. Don't post bug reports, feature requests, support questions or suggestions he...

Re: Language Packs

I don't see any problem downloading there... Try going straight to http://www.phpbb.com/languages/ and clicking the downloads you want instead of from whatever links you have saved. And please post additional Translation related questions in the appropriate support forum http://www.phpbb.com/communi...

Re: Header info?

Hi, This is not in a template, but rather configurable in the board settings of your Administration Control Panel. The file those are set at and the logo is located would be /styles/yourstyle/template/overall_header.html. Unfortunately, support is currently not given at this board; it is for discuss...

Re: smilies.pak problem

A free hosted board I know of suggested using word censors. But you needed to host the images elsewhere. Your host may not have a forum, but they do have something to submit a support question. You'll have to use that. We honestly do not support free forum hosted boards AT ALL. As such, topic closed.

Re: new topic button not showing

You need to also add the language images for each style. The translators make them available in the default styles- prosilver and subsilver2. Download from http://www.phpbb.com/languages/#pt and add to /styles/prosilver/imageset/pt. For the other styles, you will need to create your own or copy the ...

Re: smilies.pak problem

If you are using a free forum host that does not provide ftp access, then you should be asking for help with this on their support boards, not ours. Our sites can only provide support to boards installed from the download we provide, not those supplied by free forum hosts, one-click installs, or pre...
