[PHPBB3-16976] phpBB Native Search returns 1 match and one page of results

Re: phpBB 3.3.6-RC1 released

Any new news about the final release of phpBB 3.3.6 that can be reported? Generally a RC release is followed shortly afterwards with an Announcements . Yes I know and respect the following: Rule #1 <include standard_disclaimer> phpBB x.x.x will be released when it is ready to be released. </include>...

Re: phpBB 3.3.6-RC1 released

Two data points to report using my localhost testing environment and following the steps in https://www.phpbb.com/support/docs/en/3.3/ug/upgradeguide/update_full/ On a CentOS 8 (Stream) server, with PHP 7.4.27, the update went smoothly and no issues reported or seen so far during post-update sanity ...

Re: phpBB 3.3.5-RC1 released

Other than testing the update process and basic sanity testing is there anything else that the development team could suggest as a focus for testing with this update?

Re: phpBB 3.3.4-RC1 released

Again please forgive this self-described PHP non-expert, but isn't includes/constants.php the proper place to define the constant. If somewhere else is triggering a duplicate definition, shouldn't the fix be made in locally? It seems very backward to me to handle a possible duplicate definition by c...

Thank you for the pointer. Carry on and let me know if there is any further testing I can help with.

Re: phpBB 3.3.4-RC1 released

I've been attempting to understand the underlying code and I'm nowhere near an expert in PHP syntax. So can someone help me understand something. There are a number of places in the code that use the syntax @define(string $name , mixed $value); Examples are in https://github.com/phpbb/phpbb/blob/mas...

Re: phpBB 3.3.4-RC1 released

What about those few phpBB debug messages? Did you find them in your error logs or on the main screen after installation? On the screen during the installation process, in yellowish banner. At the time I didn't check if there was anything further in the server logs. I've checked now and didn't find...

Re: phpBB 3.3.4-RC1 released

I sense another fresh install is in order, without changing install/app.php from the version included in 3.3.4-RC1. Yes I volunteer again 😂
