I've never used phpmyadmin, and I still don't know what that tool is. There have been times when the update process couldn't complete, why I'll never know - and my board crashed: Through FTP I erased the whole phpBB-board from my server, reinstalled it from scratch with the latest complete version ...

Yes please.

I think the intention is that the content of that folder shouldn't be modified by a style (as it doesn't make sense). Extensions may or may not modify it, but i don't really see the point of it in case of the feed template. So IMHO it aims to make the style authors life a bit easier, not to restrict...

Ok, I understand this is no bug, it is a "feature". What we said was that this is not a bug, but it would be a nice feature to add more control to the users/board admins to handle this in the future. Also, I would be surprised if this would be a legal issue anywhere in the world as users ...

I think with what we have in the editor with the link button's help message, it should be clear that you need to specify the protocol, which is different in some cases from the 3.1 behaviour, but IMHO it is an improvement. Probably, it would be nice to add some more configuration options in the ACP,...
