Re: Which IE versions should we kill?

Any new style should aim at supporting only supported versions. The average lifetime of a style should nowadays be longer than that of a browser version. Therefore I'm all for dropping support of IE9 & 10.

Re: prosilver2

The current development version is phpBB 3.3 for new features. A transition to 4.0 would only happen if we'd completely get rid of any backward compatibility.

Re: subsilver3

subsilver2 has been completely dropped in 3.2 and will not return. I don't see the style language being continued in any way so I don't think there will ever be a subsilver 3.

Re: 3.3 release date

Somewhere between now and probably 2020, at the latest 2038 as we'll have to fix the unix time stamps until then though.

Re: New Style for phpBB 3.3 ?

That's what we did with prosilver in phpBB 3.1 and 3.2. There is only so much you can try to improve something without actually revamping it and I do think that we have long reached the point to move on to something new. A lot of current forum styles use font icons. This does not mean that this is g...

Re: New Style for phpBB 3.3 ?

For now the goal seems to be to go for SVG icons instead. They offer a very good high res support and do not interfere with screen readers.

Re: 3.2.0-RC1? New build or not?

We're working on releasing 3.2.0-RC1 soon. As long as some of the packages are not fully updated though (you might notice that some still have May 30th as date) and we're not announcing the release of RC1, this shouldn't be installed apart from testing though.

New Admin Style for phpBB 3.3?

I've actually been working on reworking the overall ACP UI and UX in the past months (goal is for 3.3 obviously). The general setup is not final and I'll talk about it soon in a separate topic. What I'm currently using for the ACP is a Bootstrap base. There are two SCSS files that are compiled using...
