Re: Bug is less,

Maybe instead of RC5, they will wrap it and go GOLD. The bug reports will never end, but that RC process has to end somewhere, you know... 8-)

Re: Reset Statistics - Is that really the best place?

Well, I submitted my ticket and got the expected "not a bug" as a reply, and the ticket is closed. :( I'm disappointed, I was expecting the devs to at least listen what I suggest. Now, either I'll try to modify my ACP myself and move that box to another page, or I'll submit a mod re...

Re: Reset Statistics - Is that really the best place?

OK, I'll post a bug report but I'm afraid it will be rejected. :(

Re: Troubles with RC4 release?

There is definetely something fishy with session starts, but exactly what is the problem, I do not know. Only thing I know is some of my readers are complaining of getting a blank page on their first visit to the board. I'm trying to gather information. :(

Reset Statistics - Is that really the best place?

Hello all, This is not a feature request, but I just want to express something which bugs me since some time. This is more of an aesthetics issue. Do you all think the current position of "Resynchronise or reset statistics" box on the ACP main page is the best one? Myself, I do not think s...

Re: Bug is less,

I'm not sure Nicholas. I think they made some several changes to core systems, caching and UTF-8 system, etc. But I hope you are right. :)

Re: Bug is less,

There has been too many code changes between RC3 and RC4. I'm afraid RC4 will create a rush of bug reports. I'm almost sure that a RC5 will be on the way before the Final, but we will see...

Re: "Confusables" - What does it do?

It allows phpBB to better deal with "confusable" characters. For example, in English, the 1 and l (lowercase L) can sometimes be confused. There are a few hundred of these in the UTF-8 character set. Thank you, I hope that does not create any problems in my Turkish language board. Turkish...

"Confusables" - What does it do?

Hello all,

I'm wondering what that "confusables" files the developers recently added to pbpBB3 do?

Many thanks,

The new behaviour in VIEWTOPIC is not the best one, I think.

Hello everyone, With todays CVS update, phpBB no longer shows "REPLY TOPIC" button when you are not logged in. I do not think that is a good decision and I reverted my viewtopic.php to the previous version as soon as I noticed it. As a user, I usually browse topics not logged in, and when ...
