There have been a few topics on the main phpBB forums, i.e. https://www.phpbb.com/community/viewtopic.php?f=64&t=2578981 that cover PHP 8.0 compatibility with phpBB 3.3. I'm sure the phpBB developers are well aware of resources related to PHP 8.0 and hopefully are working on the changes required...

Other than testing the update process, is there anything else that the phpBB development team would request that people test with this release?

I have looked through the fixes via the CHANGELOG.html and checked any that might impact the boards I operate.
