You will have to decompress it. Dwnload WinRAR (google it for its official site) and then open it with WinRAR. You will have to decompress it twice. Once to get the .tar out of .gz and secondly to get the files out of .tar.

I want to install a skin that is in *.tar.gz format.
Now I want it to do it automatically where do I have to put this file in order for it to detect it? Do I need to get theGZip compression out first and move the *.tar to the /store dir?

You can still use the same code you have I mean plain HTML excluding the {language} and <!--- These -->. You have the skin's code ands you need to move those around and add new ones to fir the same skin. Get it?
