Re: Creating group error

Do keep in mind that this is "work in progress" as our dear designers/moderators would say.
You're bound to get errors since this software is not even in beta yet. ;)

Re: Edits and deletes

I believe it's something which can be turned on and off from the ACP. It's on the CVS version that I have anyway and I'm sure it will be in the final version too.

Re: All the new features since 2.0.11

Same here! We have a lot of mods on our board, too many to be honest because it's slowing the board down unnecessarily. It's really great to see that nearly all of those mods are or will be included in the new phpbb2.2. So yes, great job, and keep up the good work, we are all waiting anxiously for t...

Re: Database

I wouldn't worry about that, there will be an installer which will convert the old database to the new one ;)

server-side topic marking

In the admin section, under "load settings", there is an option called "server-side topic marking".

Does this have teh same functionality as Ptirhiik's "Keep Unread" MOD?

It would be a great feature if it is! :D

Re: Invision 2.0 is now under payment!! When out phpBB 2.2?

i think there should be a global announcement with the title "When will phpbb2.2 be released?". It should contain the info given in various locations on this board ("by the end of the year"). then these pointless topics would stop popping up every day. it is common knowledge tha...

Re: phpBB portal ?

To be honest, I don't quite know what the big problem is here anyway. As soon as phpBB 2.2 goes into beta (or perhaps even before), there will be people developing 3rd party add-ons for phpBB... calendars, photo albums, portals, cms, you name it! This is what makes phpBB so great, with the huge amou...

So very true! Same goes for IPB actually... I tested it out recently and you simply get overwhelmed with so many features and options that you don't know what to do anymore.
phpBB is so much more user friendly :D

Re: Is it true?

You could easily add a center code with the custom BBcode system. Totally correct! I hadn't tried this feature yet, but now I just gave it a go and it works perfectly. This is yet another GREAT feature! It would be even better though if it would automatically create a new button in the po...
