Re: 2 little features
Sure, but it still makes no sense to me-I would have the same reaction if parents said "no" for something that costs them nothing and isn't bad for the kids. And the kids ask for it and still the parents say no.It's like if the parents are acting like kids.I just don't see why not include su...

Re: 2 little features
Helping to beat this dead horse... why not have it built-in and just give the admin the ability to turn it off with a switch in the control panel? As stated earlier - this is a simple mod and not that much code at all - so granted you could have the end-user mod it in, but if it's that simple and t...

bandwidth
I had vBulletin and when i converted to phpBB2.0.6 i was very impressed of how much less bandwidth it would use. Will 2.2 still be economic bandwidth-wise or will I need much more bandwidth?About how much % more bandwidth do you expect it to need?

Re: Avatar size
on this topic:one thing i'd like to see is different avatar size limits for upload and off-site link.that is because i have small bandwidth and i have a 20k limit for avatars uploaded on my server, though i wouldn't mind having a 50k limit for the ones on other sites..that's it,would be great, thank you

Re: Nice work...
no,i'm just too bored to do this.this is an official phpbb board,it definately has many "die-hard" phpbb fans which i don't care to convince-or anyone.for me,vbulletin was faster, more stable, with more features-no need to add a mod for a simple thing like custom titles or even MERGE for chr...

Re: Bump?
well yes i agree that quick reply can be annoying,so i say leave it as an admin option. @psotfx:i don't care if you'll add a bump feature, anyway i won't be using it.but the fact that quick reply is an easy mod as you say makes it even more difficult for me to understand why you won't be adding it as...

Re: Bump?
totally agree with Q:Jedi.come on,you're making THAT a standard feature and not quick reply?quick reply would surely be more useful.ok it's not my decision so i'll just shut up and install the quick reply mod when 2.2 is ready..o well

Re: Nice work...
Since when was vB the holder of that title? phpBB dethroned vB long long ago imho... well well i've been using both engines as an administrator.i had a cracked vb 2.0.3 but because it was cracked,i was forced to convert to phpbb 2.0.6.i have to say vb is far better, sorry but it's the truth.you can'...
