Re: Notifications in 3.2
Are you getting this error while using the 3.2 branch from the Board Rules extension repo? No it's with the released version - I will take a look at the repro one (did not know that there was one) Edit: When I used the version from the rep[ro (1.0.4-dev) I started getting other errors Catchable Fat...

Notifications in 3.2
I know that there have been some changes to the notification system in 3.2 - although I cannot say that I have seen any documentation as to what has changed. I am struggling with notifications in 3.2 (to be honest I was struggling with notifications in 3.1 - but that's another story!). With any noti...

Re: phpBB 3.2.0-b2 released
Of course for proper extension development, none of this is an issue because you should really be doing your extension (or core) developing within a clone of the phpBB repository...not some arbitrary release version. Re: phpBB 3.2.0-b2 released
Then the line @define('PHPBB_ENVIRONMENT', 'production'); once commented out should automatically set the 'development' configuration to on. If I recall correctly the way that part of the program works is that if no environment is specified then it will create a production environment Also, as I ab...

Re: phpBB 3.2.0-b2 released
The problem with that approach is that there will be some who will remove the comment for the development environment, get the error and waste time for support. Imagine one day a "Joe Doe" user wants to try and become a coder for phpBB.. Then creating a development environment will be thei...

Re: phpBB 3.2.0-b2 released
The majority of users do not need the development config so I would have to disagree that it should be included, but I would concede that the development config files should be more readily available.

Re: phpBB 3.2.0-b2 released
Try @define('PHPBB_ENVIRONMENT', 'development'); That will only work if you have a "development" config in place otherwise it will give an error. What I think @3Di is asking is how to create a development, or any other, configuration. I think that it needs to be born in mind that we are n...

Re: How can apply Word Censoring on Users Details
No - how to do something is a support question which is answered on phpBB.com - where you had an answer. Here you can make a RFC (Request For Change) where you believe that a feature is missing.
