I've got a question now about the beta now. Maybe a dev could answer this or maybe it is somewhere but I havn't seen it. How will be decided when the next beta will be released? When the bugtracker is empty maybe?

It's quite funny how quick the bugtracker fills when the beta is released. The last time I've seen that was when the bugtracker was actually opened for the CVS.

Now we have to think about when the beta 2 will be released. I think next week

*has a look if it is the 1st of April* hm. no not on planet earth .

That category has existed for as long as the 3.0 Bugs... the permissions got screwed up on the upgrade/maintenance yesterday. Sorry... nothing to see here.

Yes it is unfair. After all phpBB works much better and faster.

It would really be a perfect day for a beta release and when I try olympus on my test machine it runs quite well.

However when beta is released the next question of some users wouldn't be "when will beta be released" but "when will final be released" or even moan about errors etc etc.

I don't want to have a beta soon I want them to keep on debugging for years

We could try using the force to influence all the bugs to go away
