I dunno. I am very fanatic about saying SCSI as scuzzy. Not even for any personal beliefs or anything, just the degree of ease that one says "scuzzy" as opposed to S-C-S-I. The main thing is that both "es" and "see" are stressed. So you really have to draw it out, "es, pause, see, pause, es, aye ...

Back in the day, I always wondered what that SQL thing was? And then I learned it was "Structured Query Language" Okay, so I though it was "S-Q-L". And then I had someone ask me if I knew sequel. I was like "What?". So I have called it "sequel" ever since.

I started on phpbb.sourceforge.net, but there was a point where there were some bugs, and I think I switched to area51 right when they were being fixed. I attributed (probly wrong) it to some subtle difference in using the two domains. Oh well, been area51 since then.
