Re: Add the birthday Custom profile field in the ACP

Lets just do it one at a time and focus on adding this first. :P It seems more relevant than the rest of tweakie cpf settings. The only feature i see that should be hidden is the Join date. The username is a must have, and the rank, pretty much the same. I dont know why someone would want to disable...

Re: Add the birthday Custom profile field in the ACP

Because it is tied into a feature of the forum so it won't be as simple as making it a cpf as things will break if the admin decides to delete the birthday field, for example. So, deny the deletion for the birthday CPF. We should have the possibility to manage that feature, as we do with any CPF. P...

Add the birthday Custom profile field in the ACP

Currently, we have no way to control the birthday custom profile field from the ACP. Not without an extension or two to add the functionality of a basic cpf. We should be able to make the Birthdate CPF Requiered on registration, and display it in the viewtopic user profile. We can do this for all ot...

Change the online status image to plain text/css?

I know this has been discussed before, and i did wonder myself why all the language images were converted into plaintext and css, but the online status wasnt... I came across a site that had a Ribbon at 45degrees so i said i'd extract it and propose it over here. The way it is now, with the online l...

Re: phpBB 3.2.0-a1 released

Could you please create a ticket with the javascript console log message (you should have one) what the installer produces for you? Where do i get that log? The installer just stops at 67% and thats all. It doesnt say it completed the install. But it seems to do so, as if you are browsing to the bo...

Re: phpBB 3.2.0-a1 released

I am trying to install phpbb 3.2 dev on my local board but the installation never completes. She stops at 11%, then 67% (installing modules) and is about it for hours ... Im quoting the message from that topic as i am getting the same thing. Basic installation should work in most of the main enviro...

Re: View attached images into a popup window

I'm not really in favor of opening up thumbnail images in a new window. Seems a little tacky and ugly and not very modern. It kinda does, but if providing a proper way to do this is refused, at least a basic approach as a popup window would be better. There really should have been a second part to ...

Re: View attached images into a popup window

Well, this is one topic where i suggested it back in 2012. viewtopic.php?f=108&t=42785
And many others asked for this on phpbb.com since before that and nothing was ever done about it.

View attached images into a popup window

Okay, so its been proposed multiple times to include a photoviewer for attachments in a topic and its been always rejected. The way it currently is, if you click on the attached image thumbnail, the main image file is opened over the topic you were reading, taking you away from the main content. Tha...
