Re: PostgreSQL Bug
to be honest, i don't think it matters. it's a constraint name, not the name of a table anyone will get confused over, or cause code to bork.
Has anyone actually experienced problems with this "bug" ?
Edit: actually, i'm partially mistaken here. I didn't realize there were two statements. As long ...

Re: Cash Mod
I installed the Cash Mod with EasyMod, but, unfortuneatly, that mod requires tables, and EasyMod doesn't support tables, it says. Is there anyway to configure this? Because I don't know howto create tables like the Mod said. Will this change? Cuz I really want this mod...!

Re: IN-LINE FIND, ADD multiline
ok, i guess the balance is, which is worse? my suggestion, or doing a FIND, REPLACE on the entire line
it's been said several times that my FIND, REPLACE in a certain instance is rather... brutal... this was just an alternative possibility... it would be nice if the <!-- BEGIN --> and <!-- END ...

Re: 03: I need (white)space!
point of notice, you missed one of the standard MOD Template actions... COPY.
I'm assuming this is whitespace insensitive, but just to be sure...
#
#-----[ COPY ]------------------------------------------
#
copy cash.php to cash.php
copy includes/functions_cash.php to includes/functions_cash ...

Re: 01: MODing Philosophy
I'm not sure i understand the jump from 3 to 6...
also, if i'm writing an API with my mod for other mods to work with it in a manner as easy as possible, does that make me 5,6, or 7?

IN-LINE FIND, ADD multiline
Hopefully this isn't off topic, and not already brought up.
Is EM ok with doing an IN-LINE FIND, then a mutlitline IN-LINE (AFTER/BEFORE), ADD?
ie,

Re: [rejected] Check the whole mod for FIND-errors
Yes, I could do that for the preview mode, but refuse to do that for the live run. I'd be too concerned with what is not getting MODed and most likely breaking the board. Better to halt everything and let the author and user work it out.

Re: Protecting the FTP password
I agree with LifeIsPain.
I was thinking of using the raw EM or admin's password as the seed for a two-way encryption, since it's not stored in the database (except for the MD5 hash - which doesn't count) and so it remains secure. My knowledge of 2-way encryption is very weak, except what i learned ...
