Re: Whats up with the roadmap?
RC, then Beta, I believe. Or is the other way around? Someone can correct me if I'm wrong.

Re: PHPBB vs Invision
And vBulletin will have some major and serious competition. I can just see the developers of vB squirming in their office chairs seeing their sales drop by something like 35%. 8)

Re: Installing 2.1.2
If you read the rules, no official support is offered for the CVS snapshots. But as a friendly member, I will tell you that there are small 'errors', more like incomplete things, that will prevent you from installing. You'll just have to wait awhile longer before the developers feel the time is righ...

I wasn't replying to you specifically. I was replying to the original poster, and the public in general. Sorry for the mixup.hasten wrote:Of course I understand that. I was asking what psoTFX meant by "it's heritage."

Re: When 2.2 will be released!?
The bottom line is you should be thankful that the developers work so hard on v2.2, without being paid. What does this show, exactly? It shows that they want to develope this board, simply to be nice and generous to thousands of people around the world. I don't think the vB team can say that...they'...

Re: 2.1
I was not at all intending to post a bug-fix request, and I certainly apologize if my post appeared that way. My intentions were to possibly tell ybart of what I saw when attempting to install, and to maybe reassure the fact that the CVS eventually will be changed and realitivly stable once again. A...

Re: 2.1
(Add logo to image set is not done on snapshots) Yes, I had the same problem. The schema_data and mysql_schema have different information when it comes to the styles_imageset table. I actually found 4 missing tables that were in schema_data but not in mysql_schema. I'm sure it'll be noticed and cor...

Re: What still before M4
The fact of surprise and the unknown is the greatest part of phpBB 2.2. As soon as it's released, I guerentee it will seem sooner than you were expecting. This makes it much better in the long-run, and minimizes the disappointment if a exact or even rough release date is provided, which probably isn...

Re: Restore a single forum?
The problem: all the topics / posts in one of the forums were deleted. I have a complete backup from a couple of days ago. The question: is it possible to restore a single forum? Thanks for your help. Fred This would be complicated to do since the actual forum table, and post table are completly di...
