Re: [BB Code: extra characters]
I have thought about what you have suggested before I posted, but I can't see how adding an identifyer would help anything. If someone types in someing in brackets [p] then it won't get replaced with anything because it isn't a bbcode. If the user accedently types in [ b ] then it will get replaced ...

I'll come back and use totally different info and then
you won't have a problem with me because you won't know which one to pick
on.
Other users that want to know who my name will be, go ahead and e-mail
me at [...] , I'll be happy to reply to selected usernames.
Not if they ban your IP ...

Re: phpBB2.1 Snapshots
sure, blame it on the CVS checkout...psoTFX wrote:"Paul's script messed up" ... oh please, grow a brain and don't post something that so obviously implies incompetence. It's got little to do with the script and lots to do with a failed CVS checkout.

phpBB2.1 Snapshots
while 2.1.x releases are made every hour.
I noticed the file sizes of the snapshots are slightly different each hour. Is there really someone working around the clock on phpBB2.2? I figure the server just saves whatever progress has been made at a certain time and zips it up whether anything has ...

Official phpBB boards
This may have been asked before but I can't find it anywhere.
When 2.2 is released will http://www.phpbb.com/phpBB" target="_blank be convereed in 2.2 and this "test" board be deleted, or will this become the official board, and http://www.phpbb.com/phpBB" target="_blank be wiped out?

All design kept in CSS
Sorry if this question has been asked before.
Has anyone from phpBB thought about keeping all the designing in CSS and useing DIV's instead of tables?
It would make for more flexability for template designers.

Re: Question
how are you getting phpBB's download page pulled up??
in light of the new information I guess you can't use it.
But then again, what other than the images do you need??
