Yes. In 3.0 it wasn't uncommon for users to not realize they were using another user's permissions and wonder why they couldn't see their private forums or whatever. And that was with the link showing.

I'd also like to see some sort of banner ala the "Forum Rules" box.

Just thinking: If "Delete all board cookies" is implemented because of "legal reason in many countries", No, this is not the case. The "delete board cookies" function does not allow you to browse cookie-free, therefore it does not satisfy any of the legal requirements....

Considering phpBB is the only significantly used bulletin-board software out there still licensed under the GPL, I'll say zero.

phpBB certainly should not be providing workarounds for server misconfigurations. Even, IMO, if it affects phpBB's own functionality which this does not.

I'm not going to argue that documentation couldn't be improved (this is a FOSS project after all), but this thread seems quite unhelpful so far in identifying deficiencies.
