Re: Quick Reply
Further, you say you are from Venezuela. I have experienced myself that the "style" of communication is very different in different parts of the world, because of deep rooted cultural differences. I think you are mistake a short answer from the devs for a snotty/attitude answer. I can assure you ...

Re: Permissions.
Shining, new permissions system is complex. You have the options to decide what your guests can and cannot do. I think accesing certain parts [like memberlist or search] is one of them. If it doesn't make it, I'm sure it will be easy to add in the future.

Re: Quick Reply
Draegonis , true, they indeed have to say no at some point within the game, I didn't meant to do say "please every single one of us". If it came that way, I apologize, what I meant is, when a huge ammount of users [like I've said, it's been asked a lot] do desire one feature, you should take a look ...

Re: A reasonably "working" CVS thing
Have you ever heard something called GUESSING?
I know I don't have a date where it will be released, I was guessing.
TRY around june/july. That's a sentence that states ME guessing the release date.
And I judge by the development of THIS board [which is devs test ground] and by the emails of ...

Re: Quick Reply
Why aren't you going to have Quick Reply? It certainly is more useful than this way of posting. And it would bring more competition to vBulletin. At least you could have (just a suggestion) an Quick Reply that either admins can choose to ahve on or off, or users can choose to have on or off ...

Re: custom rank title
I think 2.2 will have an admin configurable space for profiles of users, meaning there will be an easy way to edit the fields displayed within the profile. Rank is already displayed on the memberlist, and also within the profile.

Re: A reasonably "working" CVS thing
Try around June/July, or even august :)
Then a release will be made, they might surprise us, releasing sooner, who knows...depends on the speed they're working on, and not working saturday/sundays [no emails of cvs changes] it could be a while.

Re: A reasonably "working" CVS thing
I keep downloading changes with WinCVS, and keep updating it. Yet my first CVS was I believe April 16th one, and it worked fine ever since.
Only problem I had was with the templates not showing, and the "includes" of overall_header and overall_footer not displaying correctly. But then I understood ...

Re: Easiest Way
Exactly what I do :) I keep a folder of the current CVS and I update it, and I copy a folder of the latest working CVS [that doesn't screw something up] I will download such a program and compare files.
Thank you ! This helped.
