[PHP] core.user_activate

Name: core.user_activate Rationale: Similar to the user_add hook, but fired only when the user gets (re-)activated. This is handy when you want to be informed only when a real user is added. Placement: includes/functions_user.php inside user_add and user_active_flip: Parameters: Not sure, I'm curre...

Re: [RFC] add_post_filter hook

+1 for this.

I'm currently using a similar private code modification for spam checks, and depending on the outcome I'm currently doing

Code: Select all

$data['force_approved_state']) = 1;
Obviously we'd need all post data for this event, while I'm also using the $user and $auth objects.

Re: Anyone else enjoy reading the commit logs?

logs are indeed quite fun, however there don't seem to be many these days... I even have a bookmark on the commit log page and every week I go see if there is anything new, and lately I'm rather often dissapointed :( :( I just wonder... I myself am creating a CMS on my own and I simply love doing it...

Re: Will 2.2 be webspider-friendly?

ah well... there is already a mod for phpBB 2.0.x to allow google spider the forums, but without generating all different session for the bots. Anyway, can't manage to make it work for me though... :( The problem is that I now have a site-wide login like phpBB, such that Google can't even spider an...

google sessions?

howdy all, what I was thinking about... 2.0.x had some trouble of allowing searchengines to look through all forums, with a lot of codechanges submitted by some modders... although, until now I have not managed to get it working. Will this still be the case for 2.2 or will searchengines be able to ...
