It's back! It's back!
Finally! I couldn't login for days, and I noticed, by looking at "Who's Online," that other users we not able to login either. But when I came back, I found some nice surpises, such as the enabling of private messages, and post details. I also noticed the new "Forum Rules" bar. Is that a new field i...

Re: PHP Coders Welcome!
Hi rublind. I'm going to assume that you're asking how to implement a Who's Online feature yourself, without phpBB's code. You're right, it involves MySQL or some form of database management system. As a free user, you won't get priority support from them either.
Re: Avatars?
Oh, ok. Thanks for the info.

Avatars?
Umm. This isn't meant to be a bug report. I was just wondering if avatar uploading is one of the things that currently does not work on the Dev Board, or am I just doing something wrong.
Thanks.
Thanks.

Re: PHPbb team : you have to catch up with the compition
When it comes to "features," all of the boards are generally the same. They allow you to post messages, which is the basic point of a forum software. It looks like the "features" from vB and IBP that people want in phpBB are not really features but tools. vB has a large admin CP. Is that really a fe...

Re: UK newspapers? Questions by a US reporter
A common stereotype, if you want to call it that, I hear about UK news media is that it heavily covers the royal family. Would you say this is true?
Is the royal family "obsession" similar to our obsession with Hollywood celebrities?
