Re: Can posters moderate their own topics?

I'm certain that I read somewhere that admins still need to be made super mods before they have full moderating permissions... or was that my imagination?

Um, no. Admins, supermoderators, and moderatorss are all just predefined groups with appropriate permissions set. You're free to edit/create ...

Re: Karma Level

Well, I'm not sure. I haven't looked at CVS... but, still, it would be cool. :)

Re: Karma Level

Karma system is far from done, so perhaps some of this stuff has a chance.

I think a permission setting for "Rate Posts" would be cool, but I don't think reasons for the rating given is very practical.

Multiple levels of "Good / Bad" may also be useful in some instances, but I for one either ...

Re: can admin set topic into some good topic catalogue

Don't count on it. You'll have to ask for a mod for it when the time comes. This would by straying away from the phpBB team's intiention: to release forum software. Not enough people would make use of it, either.

The phpBB team doesn't want to add things like calendars and stuff to the software package because it ...

Re: ACP Manage forums

Actually, it isn't a template issue. It would require at least some copy and pasting of code, not much more.

Re: UCP new look...

After looking it over, I actually like this method a little better.

Either way, this is a styling issue which you can change yourself anyways. Maybe it will encourage more people to use something different than the default style. :D

Re: Template-engine ready?

You should wait until at least betas or RCs. Even then things will more than likely change, but not so much as they will now.

There is a topic discussing template/styling issues in the New Features Discussion forum, in fact - showing that they are still open for suggestions on the subject.
