This is a minor change to the core that doesn't matter one way or the other. Spammers will still spam. Additionally, even if this were to be implemented, you don't want to add nofollow to links within your own website.

Personally, I'd say no to the core. While I might consider it as an extension ...

Re: [RFC] Ajax Live Search
I'm gonna say -1 on this one. This is WAY too cpu intensive. 99% of boards on the net I'd be willing to bet do not have the processing power as facebook or google. I could see this getting abused. If people want this, I'd say leave it as an extension as there'd be nothing wrong with that.

Re: JavaScript dependency injection
And that isn't how the browser downloads documents at all —or, for that matter, how anything is downloaded over TCP. If you had a 1 MB/s connection (which is pretty slow ), it'll take a lot longer than a second to download a megabyte.

Re: Change background-color to f1f1f1?
To be honest, it's such a subtle difference I don't notice it much. I changed it to f1f1f1 in inspect element and while it looks "better", if somebody had of changed it on the site without saying I wouldn't even have notices :P

Re: Login without password
I must admit, I haven't read the article in full, I'll read it in a moment, but the way I understand it is you enter your email (or username that is associated with the email address), an email is them sent with a link. This sounds like a good idea, but I have a couple problems with it. It more ...

Re: New users Permission in 3.1?
Well the idea would be between internal and external links that there is no harm in linking to other topics on a website, whereas spammers want to link to outside sources. I posted the "idea" on phpBB ideas https://www.phpbb.com/ideas/idea.php?id=991, I would post an RFC specific to it, but in the ...

New users Permission in 3.1?
Howdy folks,
I'ts been some time since I've trolled around area51, I see phpBB 3.1 is coming along quite nicely. I just want to ask a quick question, does phpBB 3.1 feature a new permission for users/groups that would disallow users from posting external links and images? This would be useful for ...

Re: [RFC|Merged] Rename MSNM to WLM
Hate to bump this thread, but isn't MSN and WLM even dead now in favor of skype? If so, perhaps this should be changed?

Re: Private phpBB development
This question doesn't make sense?
Are you referring to updates *you* make to phpBB? Or using the ones of the official phpBB project from github? I ask because of the topic title "Private phpBB Development". It's probably not suggested to use the "raw" development code for a live website from the ...
