A good use-case for this is "how do I allow a junior mod (ie. not a global mod) to make a post sticky"?
Currently it's convoluted.
I think the permission pages could definitely be improved, they're really confusing. I like the original suggestion.

Re: [RFC] Require forum guests to enter their name or nickna
If you're going to have the feature to allow guest posting in phpBB, why not do it properly to require an avatar/nickname for that guest?
It makes a lot of sense.

I would like to see it included too.

Re: URL Rewriting MOD
It raises a question: why not fold the phpBB-SEO advanced mode URL rewriting into phpBB core?
Alternatively, you could implement advanced mode with no user options, and then admins who require more options could use phpBB-SEO full version of advanced mode.

Re: AJAX Multiple File Upload
I would love to upload multiple files simultaneously.
I don't care about whether AJAX or not, but would like to specify multiple files, then click "upload" and have them all sent.
I should not require Flash, though.

Re: Official Bridges
I wanted to add that making it easy to have a single-sign-on between Wordpress commenters and phpBB users would be awesome.
Much like the phpBB devs discovered how much latent demand there is for phpBB beautifully integrated with Drupal, there is similar for wordpress.
