Re: Thanks for post

I support this (imagine that :P ) under this implementation: there is only "Like" link below posts and amount of "likes" user has received on user's profile David, your first paragrah steers away from this concept. If a new table is implemented (with the number likes per topic/post being added to th...

[RFC|Rejected] theme hook

Allowing authors to add theme files to the current theme set. This is more geared toward prosilver, as subsilver places all CSS in one single file. Our current setup shows the following (example only, 1 line): @import url("common.css"); Adding an additional parameter to import custom CSS files would...

[RFC|Rejected] database constants hook

Placement should be at the end of the file (un...

Re: Visitor Messaging

and phpBB will have features that other big board software has. Please drop this argument. It has always been phpBB's vision to only include features that will benefit the community as a whole; not because (vB/myBB/IPB/"joe blows" BB) has them. Also keep in mind that those other BBS include everyth...

Re: 3.1 to 4.0

Forget Arsia This has been my thought for a while now. phpBB2 to phpBB3 took 5 years 8 months. Here we are 4 years 6 months and we still haven't even finished what was supposed to be just a feature release. At this rate, and assuming 3.1 is released this year, 3.2 is looking at a 2017 release and p...

Re: phpBB 3.0.11 Release Candidate 1 published

You keep saying this, but every team member that has posted here has stated that they are not willing to do this (add me to that list :P ). If you're that concerned about it, feel free to do as Nils suggested and improve the automated tool so he can merge your pull request. Every team member.. can ...

Re: [RFC] Default avatar for users with no avatar

Sorry, I still think this is a bad idea. It should be choice wether or not I want an avatar.

Even if there was an enable/disable option in the ACP, administrators that enable this option are still forcing users with an avatar that they may not want.

-1 also, forcing an avatar on users that don't want them is in my opinion a bad idea.
