I say keep it simple. Limit the ad placements to a few normal positions (as mentioned in your orig proposal). Do not try to give tons of every option possible. That will only get you into trouble. I would like to see the extension manager gets its update so it is aware of extension branch versions (3.1x/3.2x) in this release.

forget about this completely This will be a moot point once the Extension manager will be able to download extensions autmatically from our database. And this is a moot point since that is probably at least one, more likely two years out. -javiexin No, it already exists. It just hasn't been merged ...

David is right. People should not delete active extension files from the filesystem, just as doing so to phpBB's core files would also result in unexpected results.
