Re: GSoC proposal review - Ad management ext

You can always add more later, if reasonable. Don't "over-engineer" it and don't assume you have to ple...

Re: Releasing 3.1.11

I would like to see the extension manager gets its update so it is aware of extension branch versions (3.1x/3.2x) in this release.

Out of interest/curiosity - do the stats from phpBB installs show the version of PHP that is used, and if not would it be an idea to add them (if that is possible)
Just go to the ACP, choose the Help support phpBB panel, and click Show details.

Oh, the answer is Yes.

This I would consider a good working solution, with not much runtime impact (only a check every 5 to 10 minutes, or on demand...) and yet a very important reliability improvement (at least in my view).
To me this is a bad idea. And for a very minor (almost non-) issue, IMO.

Re: Potential bug in extension management

forget about this completely This will be a moot point once the Extension manager will be able to download extensions autmatically from our database. And this is a moot point since that is probably at least one, more likely two years out. -javiexin No, it already exists. It just hasn't been merged ...

Re: Potential bug in extension management

David is right. People should not delete active extension files from the filesystem, just as doing so to phpBB's core files would also result in unexpected results.
