Re: Should we standardize our page titles
Ahem...
I think the point of the way it is now is because the user is more interested in seeing the topic or forum title than the site name in their title bar or favorites.
I agree. And I think we should now extend that to be board wide. because this becomes an issue with extensions. For ...

Should we standardize our page titles
Right now our page titles are inconsistent
When iewing topics and forums we show (which is usually preferred for many reasons):
page title • site name
All other pages are reversed:
site name • page title
Should we update our page titles (simplify it) to show the former for all pages?

Re: [Redesign] User Online Banner
I'd look to something like Facebook which is all about users and who is online or not. They just have usually a little green "on" light next to a user's name when they are online. Something similar would work fine IMO next to the user's name.

Re: GSoC proposal review - Ad management ext
I say keep it simple. Limit the ad placements to a few normal positions (as mentioned in your orig proposal). Do not try to give tons of every option possible. That will only get you into trouble. You can always add more later, if reasonable. Don't "over-engineer" it and don't assume you have to ...

Re: Releasing 3.1.11
I would like to see the extension manager gets its update so it is aware of extension branch versions (3.1x/3.2x) in this release.

Re: PHPBB3-14518 One click update - proposal for 3.3
Actually a 1 click update could probably run composer and update the vendor stuff the right way.

Re: [RFC][3.3.x] Supported PHP versions
Just go to the ACP, choose the Help support phpBB panel, and click Show details.david63 wrote: Mon Jan 16, 2017 4:19 pm Out of interest/curiosity - do the stats from phpBB installs show the version of PHP that is used, and if not would it be an idea to add them (if that is possible)
Oh, the answer is Yes.
